Téléradiologie sans frontières: birth of an international radiological expertise network

Describes the creation of the TWB network in 2007 and the charitable WEB-RIS-PACS infrastructure (PowerServer, donated by RamSoft). Across a prospective study of 30 cases, a second opinion was judged useful in 80% of cases. Six countries were involved: Afghanistan, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, DR Congo and Rwanda.
